Overview: NutriVir (BIOnexus) Each container, 14.1 ounces (401 grams). This is an excellent and tasty product of multiple nutrients in a base of (in the vanilla flavor) whey protein concentrate, natural and artificial flavors, calcium caseinate, sodium caseinate, glucose polymers, BeFlora Plus (50% fructoligosaccharides, 47.5% soy extract, and 2.5% potato starch), guar gum, silica, acesulfame potassium, and a blend of digestiveenzymes (acid protease, amylase, amyloglucosidase, cellulase, lipase and protease). It breaks down as 6.5grams of fat (5 as saturated fats; 4 g as readily burned medium chain triglycerides), 65 mg cholesterol, 95mg sodium, 175 mg potassium, 11 grams of carbohydrates and 21 grams of protein per serving. Since it has some costly components like carnitine, it ain't cheap, particularly if used as directed. One bottle is only a 7 day supply. This product has been reformulated as a NSA (No Sugar Added) Product and contains very little (1.5g per serving) sugar.

...Wasting Syndrome
A serious problem among cancer patients and those infected with the HIV-1 virus is wasting syndrome , defined as unintended and progressive weight loss. This condition is often accompanied by weakness, fever, nutritional deficiencies and diarrhea. Also known as cachexia, this syndrome can diminish the quality of life, exacerbate illness and increase the risk of death for both cancer and AIDS patients. Increasing evidence suggests that abnormal metabolism of cysteine and glutathione plays a decisive role in loss of muscle and immune dysfunction associated with cachexia.
